Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - price of flight went down overnite?

I booked a Delta song flight 2 days ago for me and my husband. We paid 174.25 for roudtrip. Now, 2 days later, the same flight is 164.62. That is a 10.00 difference EACH for me and my husband. Do I have any recourse. I paid with a Delta skymiles business card. I called dleta and they wouldn't do anything about it. I called AMEX. They said to print out the new prices and wait until I get my bill. They will then do a billing inquiry. Am I wasting my time and energy?
Thanks!

You may have success getting a credit good for a future flight.

SharkDiver,

Call 800-Fly-Song and explain to them your situation.

I just called to ask about their policy "if a fare goes down after i book" and i was told that they will give a credit voucher which can be used on a future flight.

Let us know how you make out.

Welcome to FT! This post actually should be in the Delta forum on the FT Miles page.I won't move it because (being new)you may not know where it went. The other reason is that the question seems to already answered. Delta has had a policy of giving credits (for future trips) in situations like this. Now,Song may have a different policy.Let us (Delta forum)know if you don't get it.
Sheryl,do you information that Delta/Song has changed this policy?

Not on point to the original poster, but when a fare goes down UNITED will issue a voucher for the difference. Done this many times.

* Actually, United will recredit money if you want to pay $100 for reticketing (usually not worth it).

* Be sure to have a competent UA CSR do it so that you don't lose your upgrade (if applicable) in the process.
