Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Any websites dedicated to insider Hotwire info?

We're familiar with BB and BFT that deal specifically with Priceline. Is there a website out there about Hotwire yet?

BB is Hotwire-friendly. BB seems like it is structured to treat Hotwire equally to Priceline. There'll probably always be more Priceline posts though as PL pretty consistently beats Hotwire.

BetterBidding (http://www.betterbidding.com) was actually started soley as a Hotwire board, but just a few days after launch I learned (at FlyerTalk) that many people were also looking for a Priceline board that was more objective and less heavily moderated. I decided to satisfy that need and since we were so new i was able to re-format the board to include the Priceline component.

Although Priceline typically offers better rates than Hotwire, it's interesting to note that we've recently seen an increase in users that have been able to get rooms thru Hotwire at bid levels that had previously been rejected by Priceline.

Our intention isn't to favor Priceline or Hotwire, it's for users to get the best rate they can, no matter where that may be (although it's often difficult to beat Priceline/Hotwire). This is why we also offer an "Other Deals" section which is designed for deals offered thru the hotels themselves, and other sources like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.

I haven't used hotwire (yet) but, thanks to BB, I probably will. With PL you pretty much have to troll for the lowest available rate. It seems with Hotwire I can choose to pay more to get a better property in the zone. Being able to book a hotel with a free breakfast also is a plus.

thanks for all the input--I had only glanced at BB and thought it was just more Priceline info. I'll look at it more. I'm a regular Hotwire user and I do find deals that rival Priceline's AND I get more info upfront.
