I had a bit of a mix-up on a Last Minute Deal purchased through Travelocity. Although Travelocity promises that plane tix purchased are fully eligible for FF points (unlike Priceline), one of the two segments we flew on Continental was rejected by Northwest as an ineligible fare class. I have been trying to contact a Real Person Who Cares (TM) at Travelocity, to no avail. I have traded emails with people who a/ ignored me, b/ told me to call 1-800-XXX, or c/ told me to phone Continental. I have phone people who a/ told me to phone someone else, b/ told me to email someone else, or c/ put me on hold.
I'm getting fed up and as an "Elite Preferred" customer, I'm thinking of throwing in the Travelocity towel. Does anyone have any ideas on how to reach someone who actually could do something about this at Travelocity? I figure it's too late to do anything about the points (CO/NW has no obligation to give me points for an ineligible fare class) but I'd like some restitution from Travelocity for the blunder(s).
