I tried to bid on a Priceline hotel stay today but the website didn't accept my international address. Is there any way I can still use the service, or is it for US residents only?
Thanks.

Also works with a 'creative' US address, as Priceline usually only sends email.
Always worth trying if your bid on the UK site is rejected.

Don't most merchants check the credit card number and billing address (or at least billing zip code) against the address you provide the merchant?

airoli,
the prices on UK-priceline are Pound Sterling! Not US-Dollars (or Schweizer Franken)

BiddingForTravel.com has an useful FAQ (http://pub4.ezboard.com/fpricelineandexpediabiddinghotels.showMessage?topi cID=6.topic) on this topic.
Forgot about that detail, since I keep an Amex card with US billing address for dollar transactions.
Amex USA's Private Payments single-use numbers are great for online purchases.

I realized, luckily before placing my bid. But thanks for your concern!
