We will be arriving in LA on the 4th April for 10 days - then flying out to Los Cabos for a few days. (a couple of Australians)
We were thinking of:
LA for a couple of Days, Las Vegas for a couple of days - the a drive down to San Diego. Are there any highlights on the way down that we should take in or around the area.?

if you have 10 days before flying to Mexico you could go up to Yosemite to see the canyon and the giant redwoods there before heading to LAS (a bit of a detour). Maybe Grand Canyon though that's a 2 day drive. All depends on what you want to do.
