The hotel rates are a bit more than I can afford this time. Capitolism, the Tricentennial, and tour companies have blown the rates out of site, and already filled many of the big names.

I am considering renting a flat. Anyone familar with renting a flat/appartment for a week or two in Petersburg and have recommendations?

I found this list of Mini=hotels. Anyone familiar with any of these?

Try contacting Pulford on these numbers:

Moika Embankment, 6, St. Petersburg
Tel.: +7 812 325 6277
Fax: +7 812 320 7561

or see their site at www.pulford.com (http://www.pulford.com)

I've stayed with them several times. The rates are moderate and the apartments are great. Some are less than 2 minutes walk from the Hermitage. Good luck! That's a busy time of year to be in SPB!
