Asia - Raffles SIN - best way to book?

I am seriously considering a trip to SIN to take advantage of UA's triple miles deal. I'd like to spend a night at Raffles. What is the best place to book it? Even through their own website, the cheapest room is $354. I was hoping to get it down to at least $300. Thanks

Other SIN tips would be great. I've done searches on FT and read up. This would be my first time to SIN so if there are any hot new suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them.

This site (http://www.singapore.the-hotels.com/raffles-hotel.htm) actually lists the Raffles for $29 -- probably a typo/scam, but perhaps worthy of further inquiry.

It shows $389 when I try it. I like the $29 deal better!
