I stayed at the New World on their club floor. An expat friend of mine said he thought it was the best hotel in town, (Perhaps he was just being polite, but I didn't have any complaints with the food, room, service, staff etc etc.)
I find Asia Hotels - www.asiahotels.com (http://www.asiahotels.com) has loads of customer feedback available in their "reviews" section (and good rates, too!)
