Dear FT experts,
I just want to inquire about an airport hotel near Incheon, Seoul. I may need to stay in ICN overnight due to a mileage run earlier next year.
Thanks,
Carfield

There is an airport hotel airside at ICN. They rent in increments of 6 hours for transit passengers. From what I understand the accommodations are relatively spartan. Then again, ICN has wonderful facilities - restaurants and shops. Depending on how long your layover is, you might consider staying overnight in Seoul. The airport limousine bus is a little less than $10 and will take you directly to your hotel in about an hour, depending on traffic.

I stayed at the airport hotel inside ICN last November. It's true that the rooms are somewhat small and spartan, but as airport hotels go, I thought the rate was reasonable and it was clean, quiet, and attractive. As I recall, we paid US$36 for two people for a 4 hour block. I believe that the rate for 1 person for a 4 hour block was US$26 and for an 8 hour block was about US$40.
I don't know how long your layover will be, but if it's a fairly short one and you have lounge access, my recommendation would be to skip the trip into Seoul and just stay there. It really is super convenient.

It depends on how long you need to stay at ICN. Aside from the Air Garden, the airport hotel, you can also stay at Grand Hilton Seoul. I believe the hotel provides regular "shuttle" service to and from the hotel.
