Cuba - Cuba! Cuba! CUBA!

Attention Intrepid travellers.

I am considering going to cuba from NYC by way of Toronto, Montreal??? in Febuary over Presidents' Week .

I would be grateful for any suggestions.
good travel agents . hotels . logistics etc.

Interesting place. You can also fly in from historic Merida Mexico and see the superb Mayan Yucatan ruins like Chichen Itza and Uxmal. VERY cheap from there as it is so close, and you'll get deals with hotel and flights from agents all over town. Someone there is bound to be on the web.

From Canada mostly they fly you to Varadero, and likely you'll sit on a beach resort that may as well be in Antigua or Jamaica!

(You can also fly direct to Havana from Jamaica.)
