Oceania (Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific) - Good meeting place at Melbourne Airport

So I'm arriving from Singapore at 5:50am, and some friends are coming down from Sydney to meet me and will arrive domestically at 8:20am. Is there an obvious place (probably near Qantas domestic arrivals, since I get there first) where we could meet? I tried looking at the Tullamarine airport web site but it is hopeless trying to figure it out from that.

An obvious place is the Qantas baggage claim office in the domestic terminal, it has a fine view of all the baggage reclaim belts and there is only one in the airport. But MEL airport is fairly small (about the size of TBIT+T4 at LAX) so it isn't that hard to meet.
