Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - South Molle Island

Can anyone who has been please provide comments/opinions. Planning 3-4 nights in late Oct.

Looking for:
-quiet and private
-access to reef
-diving
-other activities
-good food

the south molle resort is one of the older resorts in the whitsundays, and you can usually pick up some great rates at one of the travel agents at airlie beach (cheaper than you'll find anywhere else).

long island is another resort I prefer going to, whilst not exclusive like hayman, it is nice and reasonably modern with free non motorised access and the best breakfast, lunches and dinners which are generally included in the price.

the hotels will be able to organise tours, diving, etc, or you can book in airlie beach before you head out to shutehaven (unless you're coming in from Hamilton Island and taking a launch to the island you want) to catch a launch to an island. tours worth doing are whitehaven beach especially!
