Going to Fiji late June. What do you recommend doing, places to eat? Did anyone stay at any of the Sheraton properties?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

There are ten topics that come up on a Fiji search on this forum. You might get some help there to narrow your interests or questions.

As for the Sheraton, you might try a Fiji Sheration search on that forum

Ditto on the dining.

I recommend this approach, as this forum is not that active.

Just got back from Fiji today. Wonderful time in all respects. Stayed at the Warwick Resort, nowhere near the Sheratons though. Staying at the Sheratons you'll be near a lot of day trips for cruises and such. Anything else, and you'll have to travel. If you're into outdoorsy stuff, try to get to a waterfall or cave tour the hotel's tour desk will offer. Definitely worthwhile. Have also heard good things about Rivers Fiji for whitewater rafting inland.
The Kula Ecopark is worth a visit; that will usually be combined with shopping in Sigatoka.
Inevitably, you'll be subjected to a lot of touristy stuff like firewalking, kava ceremonies and cultural dances. Good to see once and go with the flow.
And don't expect outstanding food. It will be good, not great. Surprisingly, many places we went where we ate fish it came out dry. You'd think on an island nation they know how to do seafood.
But the people are very friendly, the weather will be great in June and time will slow to a crawl. You'll love it. And though Fiji will be crowded at the end of June for the South Pacific Games, that's over in Suva, and it won't affect you to much if you're at the Sheratons. Have a great time.
