I am looking for recommendations on decent accomodation in Christchurch. Price about $100NZ per day. Central location.

For less than NZ$100 you're pretty much limited to the many motels that surround the inner city.

They have the Copthorne Hotel for $100 and it's ok. For a little extra you can get Chateau on the Park which is nice!

I got a good deal on the Heritage. It was more than $100 but great accomodation.
