Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Hayman Island

Any good ? Has anybody tested ? Have seen comments on Lizard Island, is Hayman realy a top resort ?

Hayman is superb, a very special resort. But you must go there because you want to be in Hayman Island, and not because you are going to yet another 5 star resort. The location and isolation is what makes it special (and expensive). You can get similar quality room and food for half the price, but at a lesser location. Best to do your research before deciding if it is for you, then you will be very pleased if you choose to visit.

Thanks for the info, but seeing as it is such a nice island I wanted to be close to nature. Has anyone seen the beachfront rooms vs lagoon rooms ?

I am deffinitly going for the island itself (beach, walks, sea...)and not the resort. Being used to Aman resorts, I've given up looking for better.
