My hubby and I are considering a chartered cruise in the BVI with the Moorings. Anyone have any experiences with this company? Just looking for any and all research before plunking down some hard earned dollars.
In advance, many thanks!

Yes, I've chartered before with the Moorings, although not at a Caribbean base, as well as with several other companies (in the Caribbean I've used Sunsail). I've always done bareboat sailing charters and it sounds like you may be doing a crewed charter. Sail? Power? What part of the Caribbean?
The Moorings is generally considered a top-notch company. Their boats are all within 1-2 years old generally and very well maintained. Many of the discount companies you'll see in the Caribbean buy Moorings boats when they're finished with them.
I don't know what kind of information you're actually looking for, but feel free to email me with other questions.

Good friends who have rented boats many times from the Moorings would echo letoile's statement. Great service. Would make the assumption that a chartered boat from the Moorings would be a great experience.
Have fun and let us know your experiences if you go!

I haven't chartered myself but, I frequently visit Tortola. Moorings is one of the major well respected operators there. There restaurant is pretty decent. I wouldn't expect any problems.
