Ansett Australian Global Rewards - Westpac Altitude & Ansett: Strange but True!

I finally found a login on the westpac website to check my "altitude" points (the replacement programme for the GR visa). Anyway, turns out I have gazillions of points, but of interest was my Ansett ticket refund (of over $2000) - the *credit* back to me - not only did it get altitude points, but a 1.5 point/$ BONUS!! So not only did I get money back, but well over 3,000 points, which can be converted to QF miles 1:1.

Well, you're lucky to even get that far. I tried the "other accounts" section of the web site. What a piece of ****! First, it won't work under any browser except IE. Next, after waiting for ages as the site dawdles along, I finally get to try to add my Altitude account, at which point it says "An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator."

I've managed to get at the information through the "credit cards" section of the web site instead. It only shows the last 90 days' transactions and I've never had a physical statement from them at all.

I just got a physical statement today covering September-March or so. very odd.

On the flip side, I had to change my login email address and I had a very quick response from pinpoint - the guys who run the altitude website.

My wife and I both received a physical statement from Altitude this week. Dates from September01
