Ansett Australian Global Rewards - Anyone interested in 01 Mar FT/AN celebration?

Seems like now is an appropriate time to start this off again. I note the current website fares expire 28/2 which is interesting. Are they even taking bookings for 1/3 and beyond?

Anyway, I plan on doing the same as for Feb01: AN4 MEL-SYD, AN27 SYD-MEL.

Skystar, are you up for another early morning? Anyone else?

Hmm. Priced out to $352. SYD-MEL flights are showing 0's for anything less than H class. Either YM has gone nuts or they're really doing well? (find that hard to believe).

No L or T class SYD-MEL all day 01Mar.

Might have to go one way on AN and the other on... on.... oh no I can't say it!!

Ok I give up, now I see L class on about 9 flights on 01Mar, but the AN sale fares aren't available then so I'm going to wait till they extend.

Ok I stupidly just realised the problem with flights on Friday. The *@0#*@) Grand Prix has all seats filled just about. Even AN is showing sold out in C class for BNE-MEL.

There was nearly an available (cheap) connection: MEL-SYD, SYD-CBR (AN/KD) - MEL (QF) unfortunately QF leaves 15 mins before KD arrives. *pout*

Might have to give up on the big day *sob sob*

I am going to declare AN's YM to be bizarre! first L seats come and go and now it's the amazing appearing and disappearing V!!!

As I write (2134), there are 7 seats in L.

I like this new booking engine, it's so easy to check how many seats are in each class, even if Galileo only returns a max of 4! Merlin will give you up to 9.

Justtin, it's SYD-MEL that is the problem, not MEL-SYD.. lol.

I'm about to book MEL-SYD, SYD-CBR-MEL because it seems to be the cheapest option.. grrr

going to hope the early am YM process adds something I can use... like a V. I knew I should have taken it this morning when I had the chance! ! LOL
