Tesna co-chairmen Solomon Lew and Lindsay Fox said today, "We are very pleased with the outcome of the Ansett creditors meeting."
"The outcome of the meeting in which creditors voted to approve the sale of the Ansett mainline assets to Tesna Holdings Pty Ltd, represents the satisfaction of a critical prerequisite as we work towards the completion of the sale agreement of the administrators."
"While the meeting was essentially a matter between the administrators and the creditors we obviously had a vital interest in the outcome. Support for the sale agreement with Tesna by the creditors, particularly from our prospective employees and customers, is valued as a vote of confidence."
