Looks like AN is currently loosing 6 million dollars a week. All I can say is wow! - This rivals the thumping losses in the final days of Air NZ owned Ansett.
At least the sale has been approved and Fox has promised a FF launch bigger than the Sydney Olympics.

Let's put this into perspective. $3.5 million are fixed IT/infrastructure costs, so they're losing what $2.5 million a week, vs. $1.3 million a day (true, the old AN was much bigger and bloated). The Administrators said they factored an operating loss into the operation og AN-II.

And quoting Korda from the launch...
"The operation has to be cash positive from day one"
Hah!
I wonder if they answer Stephen Mayne's question. Funny how certain people always get around. Wonder if he's posted anything on crikey.com.au
Cheers,
