Ansett Australian Global Rewards - Golden Wing Closed for Normalisation

The Golden Wing lounges will be closed from the 29th of January to the 31st in preparation for returning normal services from the 1st of February.

Anyone else flying on 01FEB?

What hot food was available in Golden Wing back in the better days?

Secondly, how is QF treating you compared to AN? I met a former AN Platinum who has to fly QF these days, and he is quite dissapointed.

Thirdly, with three days to spruce up the lounges again, I think there'll be hot food. The servery in Melbourne is just gutted out at the moment.

Hot food at MEL used to include party pies and saussage rolls in the afternoons (with a very nice sauce!). BNE used to have nice lammington cake thingies.....
