Ansett Australian Global Rewards - UA points on AN

It is certainlty possible that AN will ground their aircraft and people booked on AN flights will be accommodated on DJ, QF & military flights.

Myself, I am flying SYD-ADL-SYD next Wednesday, and am very keen to get the UA miles (I want to use them for an award).

I wonder if AN end up putting me on DJ or QF, will I get UA points??

I just spoke to Michelle at UA regarding the AN situation, and she said that they had not been formally told what the deal would be at all, and they do not know even if they will honour ticketed pax (AN ticket stock) let alone FF points.

She said Ansett and United need to make the decisions and she did not know when that would be.
