America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Plat upgrade window

I just checked (for the hell of it) my flight on Wednesday to ORD that leaves at 1314 ---and I've already been upgraded. Anyone see this happen before?

Seems as though the upgrade sweep was started six hours too early.

The sweep usually starts earlier on the weekends. I have already been upgraded for my flight on Wednesday as well.

happened again today--this time for a phx-msp flight on Thursday. Odd--but I'm not complaining.

Actually, this happens to me frequently, especially on weekends. (I am Platinum.) I'd say about 50% of the time I'm upgraded when I check on-line at 7 or 8 PM -- 3 or 4 hours ahead of schedule (sometimes even earlier). 45% of the time it is closer to midnight and 5% of the time it doesn't happen at all so I have to call.
