My wife and I have B DCA-PHX tickets 50 days out. I was told they are not refundable, and carry a $100 service charge to use them to purchase first class tickets. Is that correct?
I see that I supposidly can purchase the UG for $150 each way 30 hrs before the flight. Can I purchase earlier than that? I have no status with HP. Can I use BA miles to UG? I have the miles, but again no status with BA.
What is the probability of a purchase UG being available at 30 hrs prior to flight time?
I see food must be purchased. Can I bring along my own food?
Are beverages provided? If not, or if only small quantities(fly US, and get half a plastic cup of water), can I bring my own, and can I bring my own wine? Will they open it for me if I provide opener(TSI approved), and chrystal, or let me open it?
