America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - E-Mail Notification of Upgrades?

I thought I saw someone mention here that they get alerts via e-mail when they are upgraded.

I've got my preferences set to do that, but I haven't been getting any e-mails, and I was upgraded several times this past week.

Does the system work correctly?

I get notifications all the time. They go like this:

FIRST CLASS NOT AVAILABLE.

As a Gold, I haven't gotten any First Class=Yes notices this year.
