I noticed a couple of mileage postings on my account listed as "CB". They are 50% the miles posted prior.

I am plat and see the 100% bonus posted. What are the "CB"s?

Have you flown in paid F recently? Possibly the "Class Bonus"?

Yes, CB = "Class Bonus"

Early last year, when they had rolled out "web check in" on a trial basis just to their PHX Elites, I tried it on round trip to Austin. When I got back home, the miles for the outbound trip had posted and I had a 50% CB. They had a link to a survey asking about my experience with the new check in feature. I gave them a shining review. in the comments section I mentioned the "CB" as I thot it was "Check-in Bonus" and was a great marketing idea to advertise and entice passengers to try the new service. I thot I was doing them a service to provide feedback before releasing web check in system wide They responded that CB was "class bonus", it was incorrectly posted since I was Elite upgraded to First and not on a First Class fare, and the CB was removed. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

My Mom taught me that this was called "Indian Giving" (sorry for the politically incorrect phrase) and that it was wrong; I should explain and apologize for my error, and "eat my loss".

You're Welcome HP, please let me know if ther are any other things I can do to help you in your business.
