Does Priority pass get me access to any of the America West Lounges in PHX?
America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Priority Pass-PHX Access?View Full Version : Priority Pass-PHX Access? paulnagy Feb 2, 04, 8:15 pm Does Priority pass get me access to any of the America West Lounges in PHX? ByrdluvsAWACO Feb 2, 04, 10:59 pm I'm not a Priority Pass member, but my mom is. She used the HP lounge on a trip back from RDU. ------------------ "Rows 50 and above are business seats for those with infants" - gfowler-ord-1k SanDiegoShaun Feb 2, 04, 11:48 pm Yes, it works in all HP clubs. TransWorldOne Feb 3, 04, 1:25 am Priority Pass is great. Not only do you get into all three America West Clubs in PHX, you also are able to access the United Red Carpet Club in Terminal Two and the Delta Crown Room Club in Terminal Three. Priority Pass generally gives you access to: - all America West Clubs - Aero Mexico Salon Premiere - all Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges (inside Canada) - all Continental Presidents Clubs - all non-hub Delta Crown Room Clubs (plus the international concourse ATL location) - all Northwest World Clubs (inside the U.S.) - all non-hub United Red Carpet Clubs (plus the SFO international location) (not including unstaffed locations like CLE) - many US Airways Clubs - a plethora of other lounges across the globe [This message has been edited by TransWorldOne (edited Feb 03, 2004).] garyhartaz Feb 3, 04, 7:53 am And make sure you get the full-blown PP card so you can have unlimited access. One of the cards only gives you a dozen or so visits before you get charged. I love this card and use it a my primary lounge card when I travel alone. If I have others with me, I check with my AMEX Plat or Diner Carte Blanche to avoid guest charges. paulnagy Feb 3, 04, 9:52 am Thank You all for the quick response. I think I'm sold! QuietLion Feb 3, 04, 10:43 am If they made this information available on the web site I would have bought one long ago. QL SanDiegoShaun Feb 3, 04, 12:25 pm I wonder if we group together, can we get a corporate discount. I see they have significant discounts for under 100 people and over 100 it's like 70% off the membership. Just a thought.... TransWorldOne Feb 3, 04, 12:55 pm I would certainly be interested in banding together for a corporate discount. My membership renewal is coming up soon. If nothing else, new members can sign up under this link for a 20% discount: www.prioritypass.com/usapta (http://www.prioritypass.com/usapta) [This message has been edited by TransWorldOne (edited Feb 03, 2004).] spstx Feb 6, 04, 10:24 pm I love this card and use it a my primary lounge card when I travel alone. If I have others with me, I check with my AMEX Plat or Diner Carte Blanche to avoid guest charges. What do you mean "check with my AMEX Plat"? Does that give you club access? Chuckles Feb 6, 04, 10:58 pm Here is the link to the AMEX site explaining Plat benefits. Looks like it can only be used at "Continental Airlines' Presidents Club®, Delta Crown Room Club® and Northwest WorldClubs®, when flying these airlines...", so would not work at America West Lounges. http://www66.americanexpress.com/cards/Fmacfservlet?csi=17/20/b/3/0377393318/032103540174/20/n&from=0&mgmID=undefined&request_type=undefined spstx Feb 7, 04, 12:20 am Do you just flash the AMEX Plat card to get in? I had no idea they offered this. The _Banking_Scot Feb 7, 04, 5:32 am Hi spstx, Yes, you flash your Amex Plat card together with your boarding pass for the airline whose loung you are using, thelounge staff will fill out a sheet ( sop that Amex gets charged ( but yuo do not) and then you are in. Although I have not used the Amex card in the US for lounge access ( I use the free Prioirty pass card that comes with the UK Amex Plat for HP PHX lounges ( very nice and relaxing) I use the Amex all the time in the UK on the bmi british mildand lounges. Regards TBS smantl01 Feb 7, 04, 11:42 am Although I rarely fly NW, I've found a NW WorldClubs membership to be beneficial. It provides one with access to all of the following lounges: NW CO HP AS* DL* KL* * Day of travel ticket on that airline is required (AS sometimes asks, DL always asks). AIRcop Feb 9, 04, 3:45 am Airline club cards allow up to 2 guests. It looks like PP allows guests but for a fee?? Im I reading this correctly?
