America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Earn miles on another by flying AmWest?

Hello,

I am taking my first flight on America West from DFW to PDX via Phoenix and return via LAS. As such, I don't have any miles on FlightFund and would not like to start now. Is there another FF account that I can deposit the miles into, like Northwest? Note that this is domestic only trip.

Appreciate any help.

Nope. Only on select flights that feed NW intl routes. If you had a VS account you could earn FC points and miles. On BA you'd only get 25% for Y or 100% for F flights.

Since CO's departure from Flightfund, the oportunities for earning miles in any other program have become very slim. As was already said, BA will only give you 25%, and NW will only give you credit if your flights connect to an international itinerary. You're only choices are Hawaiian (unless you live in Hawaii or go there a lot then these would be useless) or Virgin (and unless you fly to the UK a lot these would be useless).
