You omited one of the most important benifits of the Plat Visa.
No annual limit miles earned limit.

I just double checked the promo for this and it is 5000 mile bonus and 1000 mile for filling out the application on line. The reason why I double checked is because we just got the card about 3 weeks ago and we are going to give a try for a year and see how we like it. I asked for a second card for my husband and it is working out great. We have earned almost 10k in the first month and we are thinking positive on the long term. We only fly about 5 times a year so we are not huge flyers like some on this board but so far so good.
