America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - HP Challenge

I am a CO EXP PLAT, but will be going mostly west US for the rest of the year. HP keeps come up as the cheaper fare. I can't fly to Houston then back west :-)
Does HP has a challenge to get faster Silver/Gold or Comp EXP or PLAT from CO? It was nice before with CO/HP where I flight west coast, still collect CO miles.

I was told they dropped matching this year but I would still give it a try. Also just in case you missed the fast track to silver

Frankly, (and my dismay aside) I'd be surprised if they wouldn't comp you if you express a sincere interest in switching -- especially if it is from CO. There is clearly no love loss between the two companies.

I had no prob getting instantly comped from AA Plat to AWE Gold. And hey AA, their fares are 80-90% lower and they upgrade me & spouse (theoretically at least) for free.
Spouse has come to -passionatly hate- AWE, however, since Gold member upgrade window is 48 hrs and spouse window is 4... there always seems to be only one free upgrade available and I insist on taking it due to my tall height....
