I have a HP Pass to the Club that I got with the PLT Visa, but expired June 30, 2001. Anyone have with experience if HP is lenient on accepting expired passes or if its just whether or not the representative at the club catches the expiration date?

Good Luck, I don't believe they will accept an expired pass, however you never know until you try.

I had one just like that and was able to use it at the LAS AW club in July == the person at the desk really never looked at it. I think it's worth a try.

I figured it's a 50/50 chance. Thanks for your input, it is appreciated.

I just dealt with a total bi*th on May 31st on the PHX B concourse. This women was standing behind the CSR at the Chairmans Club counter with another women. I arrive with 3 other family members and this women chimes in from behind the seated counter CSR who was going to take my pass that my pass is only good for me and a single guest. The club had one other customer! Never mind my wife and I are both Gold Elite. It is employees like her that make it a pleasure to give my business to other airlines. Sometimes it amazes me the people AWA put in important public contact positions. This women went so far as to try and mess up my elite upgrades after I departed by calling the gate agent. I heard half the call the and gate agent even wondered what was up with her. I wondered if I looked like a hated ex husband/boyfriend or if she was jealous I was taking the family to the cool beach to escape +100 degrees. What is so sad is I was just going to post how great the phone CSRs have been and how this airline has changed and bam back to reality

Hi Centurion,

Thanks for posting your experiences. While it may be refreshing for you personally to vent here, please do the airline and its customers a big favor by reporting this incident to the airline (on paper).

Thanks,

Hi Tim,
I did not start the thread and I was responding to CAB747 who asked "Any other experiences?" and told my experience. I will not write HP since the employee is not worth my time and what would travel be without an employee somewhere trying to mess up a delightful vacation http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I know its a long shot, but is any FTer flying from Terminal 4 in PHX on Friday afternoon June 13th (around 4-5pm)?
I am planning to purchase a one-day pass for HP Club for $35,(I am a Board Room member with AS, which does not cover HP clubs), but if any FTers are there perhaps I can mooch a "guest" admittance from somebody?

Thank you!

Do I have to spell it out? I am sure this employee will not let you use an expired pass based on my experience trying to use the same type of pass for a few extra family members.

I appreciate your story & input, but spell it out? Give me a break. I have a diffrent situation than you, you wanted to bring in more guests, I want to just use for myself, maybe one guest, which the pass allows. Hence me wanting to hear other experiences.

Perhaps HP employs more than this one agent you had a problem with?

I guess my membership has different terms than a pass. I took my whole family of 6 into the club in PHX with no problem. I do have a lifetime pass however. Sure do miss
CO priveledges however.
