America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Any speculation on mileage offers for 2003?

Im wondering what offers HP will offer in 2003. The 3000 online bonus is scheduled to end on 12-31-02. I racked up 200k+ worth of online bonus miles with that offer.

Anyone remember the "West Coast" promotion where they gave 2000 miles for flying to the West coast and the 2000 miles applied to your elite qualification. That deal was awesome. I was platinum in 3 months.

I would love to see that offer return.

They usually announce the new mileage deals sometime in November. Anyone have any insight?

I don't have any insight other than to say I sure hope they do something. The 3,000 mile bonus and the West Coast bonus before it went a long way to put FlightFund on an equal level with Rapid Rewards.

Funny how it was only a three years ago, yet it seems like a totally different time.

Ahh yes - the west coast promo! That was when it really paid to commute to SFO every week!

Southwest just announced this week that their double credit in Rapid Rewards is extended through Dec 31, 2003. With HP having dropped the 3000 mile internet bonus to 500 miles, I will tend to use WN over HP in a similar situation.
