America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - On-line bonus for flight begining this year but ending next....

If I fly from cmh - ewr on Dec 28 and return Jan 1, will I eligible for ANY online bonus? Although the 3000 mile on-line bonus will expire on Dec. 31st, I am sure they will have some sort of on-line bonus (500-1000 miles) after that. SO in my case, what on-line bonus will I be eligible for?

When I tried to book the fare, it said I would get only 1000 miles TOTAL for the flight (500 each way x 2) with no mention of on-line bonuses....

I would be inclined to say yes. I had a conversation with a FF rep who mentioned that the online bonus is based on the outbound date, Dec 28 in your case.

However, on HP's site it says Travel Before: 12/31/02. It's not clear as to whether travel must be completed by 12/31 or travel must start before 12/31.

Every time I fly on two separate itin's in one day I'm only credited with 3000 miles instead of 6000. Their system will only credit one online bonus per day. So I ususally have to 'request missing miles'. They ususally will then force in another 3000 miles.

HP's site doesn't factor in bonues miles when showing the mileage estimate. Maybe that's something they'll add later.

That's strange...when I book a flight through americawest.com I always see the booking bonus in the mileage summary when I get to the "Purchase" screen (after "Select Itinerary").

For example:

This is the message I got from Flight Fund. I am just wondering that if they do offer a on-line bonus starting 01-01-03, will the ticket qualify for ANY on-line bonus since the flight originated and ended between two different promotions:
