America West to Initiate Service in Billings, Mont.

America West announced today that it will initiate twice daily non-stop roundtrip service between its Phoenix hub and Billings, Mont., on Oct. 27, 2002. The flights will be provided by America West Express, which is operated by Mesa Air Group, utilizing the popular 50-seat regional jet.
"America West is pleased to add Billings to our service in the northwestern U.S. As the largest city in Montana and a gateway to Yellowstone National Park, we're confident Billings will be an important addition to our network," said C.A. Howlett, senior vice president, public affairs.

America West will be introducing its business-friendly fares into the Billings market. Customers will benefit from the unique pricing structure which eliminates the Saturday night stay requirement and provides business fares that are up to 75 percent lower than most other major airlines.

America West's service between Phoenix and Billings provides connecting service for customers in 52 destinations across the United States and Mexico including major business centers such as Boston; Washington/National; Los Angeles; Orange County, Calif.; and Dallas/Ft. Worth as well as leisure destinations such as Las Vegas; Orlando, Fla.; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Los Cabos, Mexico.
