America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - FlightFund Visa - does BofA EVER post the miles? How long?

I've had my card for 4 months; no 2500 miles enrollment bonus, no miles for usage. Anyone have any experience with this? How long does it take to post? Thx.

About a week consistently for me.

About a week for me, too. Don't remember how long it took for the bonus, but it was not long enough to cause concern.

Okay, thanks. My account must have been improperly set up. I will call to see what's up. I enrolled in July so I think something should have posted by now.

I regularly see my miles posted days before I even receive my bill. (That can certainly be startling at times.) On the occasions where that doesn't happen, it's within a day or two. You must have something wrong w/ your account. I'd call BofA.

Just to update, this is a horrible mess. B of A says its HP's fault, HP says its B of A's fault, and I have no miles posted.

I signed up in mid July. Several week sago I called to see why no miles. Was told by John at B of A, sorry, our mistake, we will credit you within 3 days and you'll receive a letter confirming.

No letter, no miles. Called again today. Dug deeper. Seems that B of A neglected to use my Flight Fund number, which I of course provided to them when I opened my account in mid-July and they charged me the $30 annual fee. Instead, they somehow decided to open me a NEW FF account (but not until August 29) and place my miles in there, but only for charges made in Sept. and so far in Oct. So I am short about 12,000 miles, and the miles they did post are in the wrong account.

HP says B of A makes this mistake "about 25% of the time" and they are working on it but this is B of A's fault. B of A says this is HP's fault for not responding to their initiate-this-account communication originally sent in July.

In any event, I have no miles and no immediate prospect of receiving them; even as to the puny amount of miles for Sept-Oct, HP says it will take 1 month to resolve this and have the accounts merged.

Oh, this was the HP platinum desk helping me, by the way.

Hardly worth pursuing, but it sucks to pay an annual fee and end up 12,000 miles short.

I've dealt with B of A in the past. They charged me to correct a mistake they had made and would not reverse the $5 'talk to a human charge' from my account. Instead of closing the account, I ended up withdrawing all but 2 cents from the checking account (no fee at the time), and getting monthly statements for 3 years before they finally closed it due to inactivity. I'd say I got my $5 back out of them!

I will never, ever deal with them again. In fact, I will drive 10 miles out of the way to give the $2 ATM service fee to another bank's ATM if I need cash and there's no Desert Schools nearby.

I think HP could find a better bank to associate itself with.
