Las Vegas - Night Flight

Hi,
I'll be visiting Vegas next month (July). I know... It's going to be really hot...
Anyway, I'm thinking organising a night flight over the strip. However, the ones I've looked so far depart at about 5pm or 6pm...
I don't think it'll be dark then. If not, is it worth it?
Do you know anyone that will do these flights later (i.e., when it's dark)?
Thanks.
(Fixed grammar... D'oh!)

Not sure if they still have it but they used to have a blimp that went over the city at night. You could look into that.

The major operators offer night flights. Here's a couple of them:

You need to contact the company direct for more info.

At one time, Vegas.com offered Blimp tours out of the North Las Vegas airport. I can't find any new info, even on the vegas.com sight, so I must presume they are no longer offered.
I was lucky enough to catch a daytime ride on the FujiFilm blimp, which was in Las Vegas for the Photo Marketing Assoc conference. It was an incredible experience. Here is one of the photos I snapped:

In July it won't be fully dark until well after 8pm.

You are correct. Discontinued after 9/11.
