Las Vegas - Limo Rental for Evening - Recommendations?

I'd appreciate hearing from those of you who have rented a limo for an evening in Vegas, especially, any recommendations, warnings or tips that you could provide.

I'm looking to rent a limo for approximately 8 people for 6 or so hours on a Thursday evening for a Bachelor Party type event. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/wink.gif

I've done a search here, and really haven't found anything, and I've also checked out what vegas.com has to offer, and there are some companies there that have package deals (i.e. stocked bar, club access, etc.) However, I'd rather hear from someone who's had experience with this in Vegas before.

Thanks in advance!

Used Las Vegas Limos (LVL) before, for a "bachelor party type" event. Funny thing was we ended up staying at the first club (Spearmint Rhino) for the entire evening http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif

If memory serves, it cost about $400 (including tip) for a stretch for 8 hours. They did a great job.

I've not rented one, but I've seen plenty up there.

You might want to think about the kind you want, i.e. a regular stretch Cadillac or Lincoln, or something more out there, like a PT Cruiser, Hummer, or Navigator. I suspect there are also price/company/quality tiers in terms of age of vehicle--I usually see some older ones based on the Chrysler New Yorker/LHS around the airport.

It's apparent that most if not all casinos provide these for their high rollers. You might contact the place you're staying to see if you would qualify for some sort of arrangement (I certainly wouldn't!).

I would check with the hotel your staying at. The concierge/bell desk can probably arrange for one. $35-40/hr plus tip seems to be the going rate for a standard stretch. Plus going through the hotel means they will fight for you if you have a complaint later.

You can also try a service like www.limos.com (http://www.limos.com)

I rented one about a year ago, just for my wife and myself. It was big enough for 8 people and the rate was 125$ for 2 hours incl. a full bar, albeit non-premium drinks.

Very nice, can certainly recommend it. I am afraid I forgot the companies name but they often advertise on some vegas sites. The only downside was the driver semed really pushy regarding the tip, i.e. harping on how important tips were to his business..etc.. apart from that we had a lot of fun.
