America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - DCA-PHX fares

Anyone keep tabs on this route? Right now the days I want (Mon to a Sun), the fare comes to $474. I know this is a premium route but can I expect it drop at all?

DCA is always a premium station. Try BWI.

IAD-PHX service starts on 12/1/02 which might be cheaper, but the BWI is almost always lowest to the east coast.

I guess I thought AWA might put the route on sale occasionally, like around $300-350. Oh well. I found a YX flight DCA-PHX for $200 instead.

I've never seen HP put this on sale, but a few weeks ago, I noticed the other airlines briefly did. I was shocked, but the fare didn't last that long.

I just flew open jaws DEN-PHX-DCA return BWI-PHX-DEN on 21 Sept and 25 Sept, and the total including taxes came to $337. I don't know if the DEN leg made a difference, but I was very happy with that fare.
