America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Has HP adopted the new rules also?

What are America West's rules regarding non-refundable fares? Have they adopted use-it-or-lose-it? Do they charge for same day standby?
If they haven't adopted these new rules do you think they will in the coming weeks, or do you think they will stand pat and hope to pick up new fliers and increase market share? Thanks.

HP has not adopted these changes, and I don't think it will. With a different, more customer friendly fare structure from the cartel airlines, keeping the status quo on these things will likely only lure even more business from the others.

Yea, AWA's nonrefundable rules (and this may be new) state: "CHANGES ARE PERMITTED AT ANY TIME INCLUDING AFTER SCHEDULED FLIGHT DEPARTURE."

I'd be very surprised to see AWA adopt the new "use it or lose it" strategy. Since they have reasonable walkup fares, their business travellers will play fewer games, and being "more flexible" will be an added marketing advantage.
