I have an unlocked Tmobile phone that I bought a Virgin SIM chip for when I was in LHR in Nov - anyone know if this chip will work in SIN and/or HKG and have any links as to what it will be costing if it does
Thanks in advance

Virgin Website is a good start.
See: http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/services/abroad/payasyougo/pay_as_you_go.jsp
SIN and HKG aren't on the prepay SIM list; sorry:

The supporting of prepay accounts while roaming requires features on both the home and roaming network. Not all network operators support prepay roaming because of this.

Thanks Nick
Guess I am out of luck - I had looked at the Virgin web site a few months ago and then put it out of mind http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/frown.gif

Get a prepaid card when you land in HKG, plenty of stores sell them...

You may not be aware but Singapore has the cheapest rates for telephone in the world. It is cheaper to call from your hotel back home or to Europe than to buy a prepaid SIM.
If you really want a Singapore prepaid for your T-mobile, I have one, totally unused since my phone would not unlock. The SIN prepaid allows roaming, but is comparable in per minute cost to T-mobile.
