A colleague of mine who has back problems is looking for the smallest laptop bag he can find with wheels. His current bag is about 14"x12"x7.5". Anybody know of one that fills the bill?

Thanks in advance!

CostCo used to sell one, and may still carry them.

You can also go to OfficeMax, OfficeDepot, Staples, etc etc. to find one.

Also try eBay...

Recently bought one at Costco, it is made by Travelpro and has a removable laptop sleeve.
It has enough room to make it as an overnight and seems to be good quality.

I have the Travelpro. He's looking for something much smaller.

I know where to buy laptop bags. I'm looking for a recommendation for a really small one.

Thanks!

FWIW, when I was in my company's internal audit group we were all issued roller computer bags. Within a month, more than 75% of our laptops were in for repair, all for hard drive related failures. They were different models (Compaqs) and different ages. We switched back to our old bags and the problem went away.

I don't think the disks like being bounced around on the ground.

All of our management team, myself included, have been using the Travelpro for over a year with no ill effects. Then again, we use Thinkpads. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif

Unless you're doing something like leaving the thing running while it's in the bag (not great for heat dissipation either), I can't see why you'd have a problem. Heads are parked when the machine is off or hibernating, yes?

My favourite:

Although the $475 price tag might not suit all...

Ebags.com has dozens, do a search on rolling computer and five pages will come up, though some won't be rolling, and some won't be computer.

If you can afford it, the Tumi bag is a dream.

The wife has been using hers almost daily for at least three years now (not a Tumi, they were not selling them yet and refered us to another shop) and has never had a problem with the computer.

I just bought a Travelpro deluxe rolling computer briefcase and I am thrilled with it. I bought it at Irv's on the web. My 5th thing I bought there and I am very happy with Irv's. I bought a closeout and got a great price.
