Looking at my response, It might seem smart-a$$y, which was not my intent. My watch and wedding band are the only pieces of jewlery I wear. I think it is a very personal choice, something that can only be picked out by you.

I don't usually wear a watch, but love pocket watches. That being said as a qualifier, I totally love my Fossil Stark watch, it's in your price range, images at

As the previous poster pointed out, it's a personal choice.

For your budget, I would steer you away from analog watches. In that price range, there is far more junk than decent time pieces, though I have an Invicta (Rolex clone) that has kept decent time for 3 years now (it spends much more time on my winder than on my wrist... I collect watches).

Some good bargains can be found on the www.timezone.com (http://www.timezone.com) Sales Corner web page, but it's hit or miss and geared more towards the high-end.

Good luck and happy watch hunting

When I travel I use the Oakley (model D1) in the link below. It does not set off the metal detector, has 2 time zones, easy to read and has a stopwatch.

Got it new on Ebay for less than $100
