I have a Red and White striped shirt. I dread wearing it because I never know if I should wash it with the Darks or the Lights. It sits on the edge of the laundry basket for weeks till I finally give in and just coin toss it with one or the other. What is your vote?

I soooo understand. I usually wash things like this alone the first time and from then on out figure the colors are set so I wash them with the other colors.

But be advised ... take my advice at your own risk. I've ruined more than a few things because colors have bled. I have found though that if I get to those things quickly enought with some Spray 'N' Wash they usually come out looking fine again.

Try using the new Shout Color Catchers. My mom introduced them to me. I throw mixed colors into the wash and one of the color catcher sheets. Somehow it keeps the colors from bleeding into each other.

These really are great -- I love them! But, on the red & white striped shirt...my vote definitely goes to the cleaners!
