America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - club passes...

Do ticketing or gate agents have access to one-day AW Club passes? i.e. if they *really* inconvenienced you for some reason do these passes exist?

I'm not talking about a phone call to let so-and-so in, I mean a formal piece of paper that I could take to a club.

I'm looking for some day passes, and I have some of those "above and beyond" employee recongnition cards. I have heard that these have value to the employees... was wondering if they "fell" onto the counter as I was asking about the club if there would help my cause.

forgot to ask... do any club passes come in the Platinum Elite kit?

CO PC passes work for HP clubs.

If that's the case, then I am all set... I've got some of those. I am a current PC club member, but switched over to AMEX Plat. I've got some West Coast trips w/ HP flights and was looking to go to the club(s).

I am not sure the Amex will work but the one-day PC passes that come with elite package for non-PC members definitely do.

Flash your P-Club card. It will get you in the HP clubs everytime.

Yeah, I know that. My P-Club membership expires in Mar-02 and I am talking about using the club after that.

OK, try this nice revised suggestion. Flash your expired P-Card and if they let you in, well OK. If they flag you, tellem you sent the check to Continental a week ago and have not received your new card yet.

Truthfully I know a guy who used this tactic with an un-named airline for 6 months and it always worked (and I was frequently his guest too). He finally renewed and I joined it as well.

I was in the HP club in the B side of the terminal today when a guy asked to come in using his AMEX card for entry...he was denied.

yeah, they are not valid at HP clubs... hence my trying to find a work-around... if the CO passes work, I'll be fine...

The PC passes definitely will get you in, as has been stated already.
