America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - MKE-PHX meal service?

I will be flying this route at the end of next month in first class. My outbound flight leaves MKE at 4:15 PM , my return leaves PHX at 4:00 PM. I called today to ask about meal service and was told there was none. Can this be correct? Has anyone flown this route? Thanks.

Meals have been returned on some flights to the East Coast.

I wouldn't count on any meal service. Even before the post-9/11 cuts, meal service on those flights was very light. It was usually a small portion of cold chicken breast and pasta salad, or small wrap sandwiches and a side salad, or something similar.

The restored meal service on recent PHX-CMH and PHX-MSP dinner flights was a soggy "hot pocket" served with a small side salad and Lay's potato chips.

All the above experiences are in First Class. I haven't flown America West in coach to the east in a few years.
