America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - How long it takes to send Silver package

I earned Silver Elite November 30, and still haven't received it. How long does it usually take to send?

According to the FlightFund service center, all members who qualified or were offered elite status before 12/1 will be mailed Elite credentials for the year 2001.

I earned Silver and was later comped to Platinum during the month of November. I have yet to see an Elite credential kit.

I took advantage of the Corporate Awards Elite Match program. I sent them an email to see when I could expect my elite package, and I was told that my elite status was processed on Nov. 17, and that I should expect the welcome package in 4-6 weeks.

Nothing waiting in my mailbox yet. Four more days until the six weeks are up...

I did the Corporate AWArds Elite Status match on December 10, just got the year 2001 Elite package in the mail today.

I did a number of Elite Matches for coworkers and was told by AW customer Service that, while my coworkes nowhave elite status, they will not receive their elite packets till February. Sounds like a cost-sutting measure: avoiding sending out the cards that are good until Feb 2002 in favor of waiting a month or two and sending out the packets that are good until Feb 2003.

I don't see a real problem here--you can still upgrade, etc. Your status is in their system.

Just recevied my 2001 Gold Elite kit. Hopefully another one is coming soon, and hopefully it is Platinum this time too... the way it should be.

Should I be expecting anything other than this card in the Plat kit? nice luggage tags, AW Club passes, headset/drink coupons, etc etc etc? or just the same thing again?

I just received my 2001 Silver Card. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif With it came the Elite Guide, two luggage tags, and six Above and Beyond certificates. No America West Club passes. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif Maybe we will receive them when the 2002 cards come out.

I think I got club passes in my Plat package. Never got any in the Silver or Gold ones though
