America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - HP extends Elite Status match

America West has extended the Elite Status match through their Corporate Awards Program. Through March 2002. Looks like my chance in first class on HP are gone as a lowly Silver.

Sorry that you may lose a seat in FC to me, but on the other hand, HP now has gotten some revenue from me that they wouldn't have otherwise received. I think it benefits the airline -- and you -- if they stay in business and gain revenue.

Well I do understand why they do this, but I just get a little annoyed when people can get free Platinum or Gold.
