America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - cool magazine offer

I have never considered getting magazines for miles, but AWA sent me an offer because my 12,000 or so miles are expiring soon.

I've flown on AWA in the last 36 months but I am too lazy to find my old BPs and contact their customer service.

They sent me an offer to get a bunch of magazines with very low numbers of miles, so I bought some subscriptions for a year of Forbes, 155 issues of the Financial Times, etc.

They also sent me a coupon good for money off on my next AWA flight.

It sounds as if they made you an offer you couldn't refuse.

Thanks richard for the magazine offer reminder. I may be able to unload some of my orphan FlightFund miles.

Have you looked at the magazines' section (http://www.milepoint.com/mall/magazine.asp) of Milepoint.com (http://www.milepoint.com/)? Miles can be used as 100% payment.
