America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - What to do with 3800 miles???

Just got a notice in the mail at my father's house that I have about 3800 miles sitting around collecting dust on America West.

Now I admit it is shameful that a dedicated FT'er wouldn't know to a mile ANY points that they had - but in my defense, I haven't used that address since 1992!

My question:
Are there any awards worth redeeming at 5000 miles? I could probably top off my account to that without too much thought, but I don't do enough flying to deliberately add a third airline to my itineraries, and AA/oneworld and WN take me most everywhere I need to go.

Some airlines have an inter-island Hawaii award @ 5K - does America West?

If all else fails you could do a points.com exchange. Horrible exchange rate though.

127 Alaska Miles
159 American, Delta or Midwest Express Miles

Yeah I got a letter in the mail the other day about my 4100 miles that have been sitting aince Ive havent been doing any rev travel with HP, they enclosed a magazine book thata I can choose some mags otherwise I loose the miles on 1/21/2002
