America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Double Miles with Northwest Airlines

Northwest has served Asia for over 50 years and serves more Asian destinations than any other US airline. Fly a qualifying roundtrip from the U.S. to Asia on Northwest Airlines between 12/10/01 and 02/28/02 and earn Double FlightFund Miles--which are Elite Qualifying!

That would mean 325 percent for a Plat member and double elite miles for next year. Means 1 RT to parts of Asia would get you silver.

Wow, quite a deal! I'd assume you'd have to fly HP to a NW Asia gateway in order to do it (since the only NW flights that qualify for HP miles are those linked to an HP flight). Am I reading it right?
